Each time an exhaust valve opens it sends out a high pressure wave. If you add a pipe thats large enough to allow free flow but small enough to keep a defined wave, you can create suction on the backside of the wave. At certain RPM's that suction develops at the exhaust valve right when it's closing and the intake valve is opening. This 'sucks' the last exhaust gas out, and helps draw in fresh air, which is good. That's why an engine can make more power with the right pipe attatched.

@farzadali1 How very odd as the ECU limits it all so it doesn't blow up - you must have sold it with a fault or the new owner didn't have it serviced correctly. It does sound terrible and you reduced the performance severely doing that. NOISE means restriction NOT power, people often think the louder a car is the faster it goes. That's not the case. People prefer quiet and fast cars, why do you think luxury cars are almost silent? Boy Racers are just open to being conned easily every day!
