Using your mouse's scroll wheel
If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can use it to save time and make things easier for yourself. For example, to get better control of where your avatar is going, you can use your scroll wheel to zoom in or out. Your scroll wheel can easily get you in and out of Mouselook, a first-person perspective of the world through your avatar's eyes. When you zoom in close enough to your avatar's head you will go automatically into Mouselook. Your scroll wheel can also scroll through windows in Second Life, this helps you browse faster. On the World Map you can use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out.
