You do not have to comply to Customs requests as this gentleman admireably demonstrates. lt's not only factual but humouress too. People falsely interpret requests as the law. When Customs are faced with someone who knows this and his rights they are in unfamiliar territory and in effect lose control of the situation.

lt is your right to shop in the EU for your own personal tobacco needs despite what Customs would have you believe. Don't let Customs harass and intimidate you. Know your rights and use them.

excellent video. This should go to the minister in charge of UKBA and to the Minister in the EU responsible for free trade within the EU.The British smoker is being penalised. The Government of Britain is only interested in being in Europe when it suits them but they can't have it both ways, we are either in Europe or we are not. Going to Europe for tobacco is not a criminal offence it is common sense. With anything you buy you go to the cheapest place, its not rocket science.
