That's true that the dogs are clean, feeded & so on. But:
1) They are taken awaye from mothers way to early - they don't get time to socialize, that's why they are very difficult to train
2) They have nobody to play with, no space, they are untouched - that's not how a heathy dog should be raised
3) You can buy them like candies, without any proof that you are able to care for them. That's way very often teenage girl but them, jys because they are kawaii/cute -

Omg I feel so sad for the dogs.... They are like: adopt me...please...

I love puppies but go and get a dog from your rescue centers out there, it will help one dog who faces the gas chamber.

oh wow.. thats so sad :(
poor animals . . . .
(see post below) We can not comment on where the dogs came from, but we saw lots of delighted puppies being taken off by new delighted owners. It did not feel cruel, seedy or poorly managed. In fact it felt like the opposite. It is good to have provoked a discussion. If you have the chance to visit Japan, especially if you are from the West, you have to open your mind to a very different way of life and not rush too quickly to conclusions and judgements.

It has been interesting to see the comments posted over the last few years on our video. It is a shame that there are some worrying racial comments that have emerged. From what we saw, the dogs were very well looked after. There were many assistants who were diligently cleaning, feeding and caring for the dogs when we visited (3 or 4 times in the space of a week).
