@Biendeo Because Sonic saw the Biolizard in his first form. While he didn't necessarily fight the Biolizard in SA2, He and Knuckles were panicking about the Biolizard.

Man this is one catchy remix~! I kinda like this version of "Supporting Me" since I can understand the lyrics better, it's got one funky beat, and it brings back those nostalgic memories :)
