HIGHER CONSCIENCE : A RYERSON UNIVERSITY SHORT FILM SHOT ON ARRI 16 ST

"Higher Conscience" by Rodney "Dolo" Del Prado

This is my second short film while I was a student at Ryerson University in Toronto. It's about a man looking back at a dangerous situation from his youth. He questions if his race influenced a decision to prove himself to his peers.

Shot with the ARRI 16 ST on 16mm black and white film stock. You'll notice the "Low Dough Film" title in the beginning. A play on my nickname... I wanted to use that in the future but who really wants low budget film?

I got high grades, like a 90 average in English, Drama and Photography. What really helps more is a good portfolio which goes way more than grades. Thanks for checking the vid out.
