this law is costing Illinois a lot of revenue most of my friends who live in il.are going to st.louis mo. the sales taxes are cheaper better casinos smoker friendly retaurants and bars

Well I guess they're going to have to charge sales tax on the doctors' visits resulting from all the colds we are going to catch smoking outside. As if a doctor will treat you for that. Did you ever try telling a doctor something like that? "I caught a cold smoking outside."

i dont smoke cigs but smoking laws are totally unconstitutional. if you want to go to a smoking bar then im for it because that is your right as an american. just put a sign on the door that warns me that it is a smoke atmosphere and i can then decide if i want to be exposed to that. i tell ya laws like these are just not right.

Smokers having the right to smoke in public makes as much sense as drinkers having the right to drink and drive. Both put others at risk of death.

btw. ive heard that cigs are the most addictive drug. harder to quit than heroin or crack. seriously. but if you want to a smoke natural cannabis flower which never killed anyone, is less addictive than coffee or alcohol and has never proven to cause cancer anywhere in the body, well you go to jail and we throw away the key. sounds logical and fair to me (sarcasm)

Without the law banning drugs, the people who don't use the drugs would have to stand outside to listen to to the band. Seems like the druggies might as well be the ones outside. Except, they shouldn't let them come in unless they stop spelling like a cesspool.
