  • i have the exact same 4runner, same color engine trans, but i have no idea on how to use the 4wd, i plan to take it to the beach but how do i put it on 4wd just in case it gets stuck anya help?

  • Just have to simple move the tranny shift knob into either 4H (4x4 high) or 4L (4x4 low)...either moving or stopped; you can shift on the fly.

  • the rod knock is in the 3.0.... never was a great engine.... but then again if they made a 4 runner with the RE it would be a terd lol

  • You have to make sure you're under 50 MPH when you shift to 4H and under 5 MPH when you shift to 4L. Or you can get into your 4Runner and look up...on the visor...where I read this....
