  • I have the same recorder at home! It doesn't work very well but it works!

  • The big problem in most Geloso recorders is the Pinch Roller.I found one fronm a cassete recorder that fits well. The secret is to keep the fastwind lever on,or the black stop taste pressed to avoid unnecessary pressure in the pinch roller when the recorder is out of use.The new Geloso series avoid this problem with a new mechanic

  • Interesting to see a Geloso running at what seems to be 3 3/4 ips. I guess it was because it was actually made by another company? Still has the characteristic multi-colored function buttons that all Geloso machines seem to have.

  • I love the look and sound of these machines! I see them (the older ones) on E-Bay from time to time... everybody bids on them! I did to, but I got outbid (sigh). Thanks for showing the video of how they work and the nice music!

  • i have a spanish battery one which uses exactly the same key layout. no sound though - amp is dead.

what is the song playing by the way? its quite funky

  • Runs great! Rare! Very fragile machines, those geloso's!

  • cool
