  • Perhaps you should look into your history. At the end of WWII the Japanese signed a UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER to the United States. Part of that sureender stated that Japan can only have the military force and capabilities that the United States allows them to have. Maybe you should consider what that means for Japan...

  • Japan regained independence in 1952.

Current deployment is due to US-Japan defense treaty enacted after that. This is not our ship. In fact, I don't want our army to have neither nuclear ship, submarine nor weapons.

  • haha very nice video of japanese radical fundamentalist, us troops are killers rapists and bandits, you are a RETARD dude. If you bother making video at least spend some time and correct the english grammar mistakes.

  • You're right. I will soon post update version with more info, correct grammer and music.

  • GW cannot help prevent missiles. Once they are shot, no one can. It takes minutes to reach Japan. US removed N.K. from the list of terror supporting nations. Not even detterent force.

  • The funny thing is, the Japanese have nucleur power plants, and that would get damaged in an earthquake sooner than on a ship LOL

  • The difference is Japanese government cannot inspect the safety of the ship and rely only on the U.S. navy. It is very close to big cities. The ship is on the place where earthquake occurres frequently.

  • masagata2007,

Time has changed. Think about North Korea and China, and how they see Japan and its people. You have all the rights to oppose nukes but someday Japan, as a whole nation, might not have the choice at all because you cannot control what China and/or North Korea will do. North Korea has the materials to make nukes. Technicially, they have not yet figure out how to make nuclear warheads for their missiles. But, when they do, it will be a game-changer to Japan's security.

  • There is no way possible that an earthquake would cause damage to the reactor plant of the carrier...the ships nowadays are not made of wood. Crazy, I know

  • i understant that the people are against the use of a nuclear powered ship being used after ww2 and radiation, but really, you should be greatful because if anything happens with north koreas misile testing, the ship will be there for your country and there to act.

if we weren't here, you'd ask for our help we're allies

  • you say you mean no harm but the stament in the end of the video say it all about you you obveisly dont realize that were not there to go to iraq were there if north korea or china acts up just becuse the ship had afire dont mean its unsafe you dont know what sercoumstanse there were

the media lies all the time and are full of crap

  • HAHAHAHA, you are so ignorant. We have been in Japan since the end of WWII. We are not there just to have a staging ground for Iraq. Is that really what you think?? Even if the carrier blows up its still wont have a nuclear detonation, the reactor is protected so even in an emergency nothing will happen. I think after 50 some years of nuclear powered vessels in the US Navy with no accidents you should think we're doing something right.....
