Veil of Maya - Unbreakable (Band Cover)

Jan Benkwitz, marvindaplace and I play through Unbreakable by Veil of Maya.
Experimented with putting an extreme noisegate on guitar and bass tracks in a couple places in the outro, shows how sickeningly tight the drums are but also gets a bit closer to the original sound of the album.

Definitely. Hey you ever play on the Steinberger ST2FPA anymore, and/or.. I guess any guitar more than a few times?:) Don't see many videos using it for deep crunchy/aggresive metal stuff. Would be killer if you could do a metal cover, progressive/power/melodic, something challenging using it, if you still have it I mean. Never heard this band before, sounds great. Will look into them. Was trying to find that one you did on webcam as a collaboration but it seems to have disappeared.

I still have the Steinberger, I took out the EMGs and sold them and was planning to replace everything but I had an emergency expense for school and couldn't afford it :-/

Some day I will fix it.

Glad you still have it. Replace, everything? With what? Was wondering about that myself, maybe put in Seymour Duncan's or something. That sucks. Speaking of not being able to afford something, been window shopping for the ST2FPA since it came out. Well hope you can at some point soon enough. Sweet thanks. Crazy that it came out that way from just webcam.
