i think you are totally wrong. DSG is so smooth that is even good for the city. And its also good for mountain roads cause your hands are gonna be on the steering and only fro 100% focused driving. I personally prefer the good 'ol stick though:) But you can't deny the superiority of this transmission. I am not the biggest fan of VW but i can see that this is the one of the most advanced Double clutch transmission systems!

Ja, das schon. Aber ich z.B. bin der Meinung das es viel Sportlicher ist mit Schaltwippen am Lenkrad zu schalten, als mit nem normalen Schalthebel.
Ausserdem zieht der besser, da keine zugkraftunterbrechung. Der nächste Gang ist schon quasi eingelegt wenn der alte rausgenommen wird. Man kann manuell die Gänge nie so schnell einlegen

yeah it's a better transmission from a technical standpoint, but i can't imagine it's as fun as a manual

lol, das soll die tolle Erfindung DSG sein?! Das ruppe ich dir in der selben Zeit durch ´ne manuelle Schaltbox, ohne tausende EUR Aufpreis. Na ja DSG ist halt für die, die´s nicht drauf haben.

(DSG)Ein Doppelkupplungsgetriebe ist ein automatisiertes Schaltgetriebe, das mittels zweier Teilgetriebe einen vollautomatischen Gangwechsel ohne Zugkraftunterbrechung ermöglicht. Die Getriebesteuerung wählt die Gänge selbständig oder nach Fahrerwunsch im Rahmen der zugelassenen Drehzahlbereiche. Im Gegensatz zu Automatikgetrieben mit hydraulischem Drehmomentwandler erfolgt die Übertragung des Moments über eine von zwei Kupplungen, die zwei Teilgetriebe mit dem Antrieb verbinden.
