Nature Hannah performs the Pterodactyl Song at Camp Copneconic, MI Sept. 2009

The Pterodactyl Song has become part of summer campfires in Michigan, California, and Massachusetts. I first learned from Nature Mer at YMCA Storer Camps, Jackson MI. I brought it to Camp Copneconic, Flint MI in 2005/06, and to Sequoia Lake Conference of YMCA's, in the Sierra Nevada of California. It was also performed a few times on Martha's Vineyard at a farm camp before returning to Sequoia Lake in 2009. The story changes a little bit each time, mostly based on audience demographic and time constraints, but still has been requested for fondness. Here it is in it's almost entirety, performed at the YMCA Camp Copneconic Reunion of 2009. It's done in the pretty fast version, as time was short.
