I actually thought i had a nice tree growing in my back yard. Now that iknow its a weed tree, im chopping it down.

Nasty buggers. The problem with these is they put off a chemical in the soil that prevents competitive plants from taking root there. I've got something like 5 of these dang things in my yard. At first I thought they were walnut... nope Chinese Stinking Sumac (tree of heaven) Thanks for the help on getting rid of them... but I sure hate to use herbicides.

thanks for posting this vid, now i know the name of these trees, i see them all the time in NYC. oh btw...i'm also familiar with the scent of those trees. not nice at all
