In doing more research, It does seem that this may very well be the wreck of the L.C.Woodruff. It is funny however, the book by Pete Ceaser that got me going on this, as it turns out, he was not describing the location correctly and the remains he was viewing were possibly a different wreck entirely. This site is now mostly covered up again. All within a months or so time.... Michigan weather !!
