This is the video for our song Pompeii, the 8th song off of our CD "Salute the American Popular Song". The video and song were largely built around samples and the associated clips from the 1976 Oscar Winning Movie "Network". We do not hide our influences, and this song was definitely intended to be somewhat of an homage to Pink Floyd, and appropriately much of the footage here is from their incredible 1972 concert film "Live at Pompeii". Also heavily featured, "THX 1138" (both the student film and the theatrical release, hopefully George isn't looking), "Soylent Green" and "The Andromeda Strain".

Put it all together and you have a progeriffic exploration of the risings and fallings of civilizations, life, death, and the human condition.....we are not screwing around here people. As always....watch full screen, turn it up, and enjoy getting depressed about how hard it really is out there.....
