Joe's POV

That was an un-expected call from Riley. I hadn't spoken directly to her since the hospital. Carson hadn't spoken with her in a while either, which made her happy to hear from her friend. I should probabley phone Dad and get him to come get me. I'm sure they'll be worried about wherever I have wondered off to. I should probabley have left a note.

"JOE!"

Carson rushed down the stairs from getting dressed - she had just woken up, then attacked me - and glanced at me nervously.

"I think they want you." she said.

I moved from the couch into the kitchen, and opened the door.

"Kevin?" I asked, shocked. "How'd you know I was here?" I asked.
"I knew you'd take my words and twist them round." he rambled. "I hope your ready to leave because Mom and Dad have no idea where you are!"
"How can they not know?" I asked again.
"I said we were going to New York for the day, which we are doing." he explained. "I'm going to surprise Hayley and you and Nick will be sight seeing." he declared.
"Didn't they ask to see me?" I said.
"We told them you were in the car, ready to leave." Nick added.
"Well, if you get to spend the day with Hayley, why should I leave Carson?" I asked, matter of factly.
"Because you already spent the day with Carson, be fair Joe." he said.
"Why don't you bring her with us?" Nick suggested.
"Great idea bro!" I smiled, high-fiving him.

Just at this moment, Carson entered the room.

"Hey boys! Haven't seen you in a while." she grinned.
"Pack your bags, your going to New York for the day." I declared.
"Awesome."

So, now we're in Kevin's car driving to the airport to fly to New York. Carson is happily sleeping on my shoulder. God knows how. She slept long enough last night. Nick is texting someone on his phone and Kevin is listening to his Ipod. Finally, everything seems to be working out.

Nick's POV

It was a good idea inviting Carson with us. Hopefully, Kevin wouldn't be angry when he discovered I'd invited my own guest. There she was now!

"Gaby!" I yelled across the airport.

She spun around and greeted me with a smile. I walked towards her and clasped her in a hug.

"New York?" she asked, surprised.
"I thought it would be fun." I explained. "Plus, everybody else is going."

I guided her towards Kevin, Joe and Carson and introduced them all.

"Gaby, this is Kevin, Joe and Carson." I stated. "Guys, this is Gaby."
"Hey Gaby!" Carson greeted her.
"Nice to finally meet you Gaby." Kevin said.
"Hi Gabs." Joe said.

She smiled towards them before Kevin made us all board the plane. He was a little antsy as he hadn't seen Hayley in a while. I sat with Gaby on the plane ride.

"Have you ever been to New York before?" I asked her.
"Never." she admitted. "But I'm glad to be going with you." she said.
"Me too." I said, placing my arm over her shoulder.
"Who's Carson?" she asked.
"Joe's girlfriend. They've been together for a while now." I explained. "Hayley is Kevin's girlfriend. She attends Juilliard."
"That explains the trip to New York." she laughed. "So all your brothers have girlfriends besides you." she exclaimed.
"Well, I did have Riley but, that didn't last." I sighed.
"Do you want to talk about it Nick?" she asked. "It helps to get things off your chest."
"Not at the moment." I answered.
"I'm always here when your ready." she stated.
"Thanks." I smiled.

It reminds me of my teachers, I'm sure you know which ones I mean lol.

So, it's snowing!
I'm praying for a snow day tomorrow which means, NO SCHOOL!
