  • @Robbo1YNWA Can we please put this to bed once and for all - I'm a United fan and I first heard this sung on the 23rd November 1963 at Old Trafford - By Liverpool - How can I be so sure? - the day after Kennedy was shot, the match Harry Gregg broke his collarbone and two weeks after Gerry released the single - Yeats scored for Liverpool - Celtic pinched it when they met Liverpool two years later in Europe --- it's a scouse song - end of
