Sorry about the double black bars! Here is our/my 2009 Haunted Trail in the dark. It rained many days leading up to Halloween, and sprinkled most of Halloween day, itself, so the trail was a mush pit. It was windy as well, so the fog machine wasn't much use. Spotlights were added for the first time, and trick-or-treators could actually see some of the props... The trail lacked many scares and themed areas. The display's quality gets better annually; now much more than random store-bought decorations placed carelessly. See you at the 2011 newly named haunt, COBHAM MANOR!

  • Gaaaaaaaaaay -.-' !

Suuper borin ! And were the fcck is the scare in this Caca !??

  • @ImpressiveBeauty This was two years ago...when it wasn't very advanced and everything was pretty much thrown around. I like to think I'm more creative with my display than yards where a group of expensive props are simply thrown out for a "wow" factor.

Thanks for appreciating the work that went into it.

  • looks great! how are cornstalks?

  • @horrormovies88 Thanks! They work out pretty well, but put them out too early, and they lose all their leaves and snap in half... In 2010, I started switching to some "walls" in a few areas of the trail!

  • @evilportrait ya, walls would be more durable ecspecially for a haunt of your size. How much are the cornstalks though?

  • @horrormovies88 An extremely generous local farm provided them all--for free. The previous year we paid another farmer about $200 just for cornstalks! There are some nice people out there if you ask around...
