  • I'm against internet censorship, however watching this video was pointless as it pretty much only showed the first speaker. *thumb down*

  • @Gerrrry 1) this is copyright material and subject to a 10 minute YouTube limitation 2) a link to the complete video is provided on the ABC website (listed) and 3) you could have attended the debate as many people did.

David Marr's speech is particularly worthy of attention. Kaiser Kuo spoke against censorship in general which was something of a surprise. Some of the broadcast material suffered interference from passing traffic.

  • @Gerrrry There may be other extracts including David Marr's speech although interference has marred it. Also having problems with voice synch on longer recordings. Keep tuned !

  • Powerfully spoken. Pro's and Con's to this debate. In the end, I think the decision will be taken out of man's hands.

  • @nocensorshipaus 1 - Fair enough although could have showed near equal time from all speakers. 2 - A direct link would have been better so people can locate it even after it's slipped off the "Feature" section. 3 - My rating and comment was for the video not the debate and I did not even know it was on.

I do thank you for your work on this channel though as I regularly give your videos very positive ratings and what you are doing is an important job.

  • This proposed filter is nothing but censorship, we can't let these bastards censor it, it has opened the world to me and this nanny state mentality government seems to think they can tell me what I can and can't look at on the net, bastards the lot of them...

  • You can find ANYTHING on the internet, given enough time, and that's what I love about it. The extremely offensive pages are a tiny minority - don't ruin it for the responsible users.

I hate this filter and all it represents, I hate that the DET decided to censor it in schools. When the hell did we become a nanny state? Fucking conservatives.

The only thing the government is proving with this filter bullshit is that they have something to hide - well, ministers? What are you hiding?
