Easy & healthy Japanese Cooking
Japanese Sauteed Ginger Pork aka "Buta-no-shogayaki" is a quick and easy pan-fried dish.
Its great as a lunch or dinner.


Ingredients for two

-250grams of thinly sliced pork loin
-1/2 of Onion
-1 pat of Ginger
-1.5 tablespoon of Soy Sauce
-1 tablespoon of Sake
-1 tablespoon of "Mirin" (sweet sake)
-Wheat flour

- Slice the onion (roughly 5mm width)
- Peel the skin and grate ginger (to make two teaspoons of grated ginger)
- Mix grated ginger with soy sauce, sake, and mirin in a bowl to make the sauce
- Cut edge of pork so that it will not shrink/roll up when you sautee them
- Powder pork loin with wheat flour
- Heat the greased frying pan, sautee the pork loin -make sure they will not be put on top of each other
- When you see meat changing color, add sliced onion
- When onion becomes clear, add the sauce
- Frizzle them while mixing them lightly to coat them with sauce


・材料(2人前)
-豚ロース 250g
-玉ねぎ1/2個
-しょうが 1片
-しょう油 大さじ1.5
-油 大さじ1
-酒 大さじ1
-みりん 大さじ1
-小麦粉

・玉ねぎを5mmほどにスライス
・生姜の皮をむき、 すりおろす(小さじ2杯分)
・おろした生姜にしょう油、酒、みりんを加えタレを作ります
・豚ロースの筋切りをします
・豚ロースに小麦粉をまぶします
・油をひき、豚ロースを重ならないように並べて焼きます
・豚ロースの色が変わってきたら、玉ねぎを入れます
・玉ねぎの色が透き通ってきたら、タレを入れます
・タレに絡めながら、豚ロースと玉ねぎを焼いて完成です
