True, the kind of information exchange is most interesting. But I don't think it should be the primary source of learning. I think it is interesting though because it is a most direct and personal interaction with many people from various places and points of view; which may traverse even language barriors. This as a social network can not be ignored, and can be profitable. But there are just as many adventures to had "in person", I think.
