@theblueo1 I think the problem is everyone has been so brainwashed my the media, certain topics feel so off limits people don't even think about them. Just the mention of child 'stuff' makes people uncomfortable regardless of the context. The heckler is the typical person who knows what is wrong but doesn't know why, just reacts automatically based on brainwashing.

@mauricemoss666 Only not half as good. Funny in his own right. Bill Hicks was a poet, and delivered sincere political opinion with beautiful sincerity. Stanhope is a great comedian, but he's also an apathetic drunk, not someone as engaged or engaging as Hicks was. I still love the guy, I just think people make that comparison because Hicks is dead and there is no one and probably will never be another like him.

Actually I recall hearing of a book by a child psychologist who found that most children are simply confused by what happened without a real understanding. Its when the health professionals start hammering into them telling them how they should feel/react. "The Trauma Myth" is the book.
