P.S. In most of these songs it is actually quite easy to tell Genesis, - 1. Tony's distinctive keyboards, which Phil never had on his albums, 2. Mike's guitar work, rather in the background, but solid rock, and 3. vocally, Phil had to live up to the rest of the band's volume, while on solo albums there was not "too much going on". ;)
