Because my life as a performing artist is (for now) supported by my income as a Starbucks barista, Starbucks consumes a good deal of my life. So I tend to tweak songs to make them about Starbucks somehow. In this case, it was the song "It's an Art," which is, in its original form, sung by a waitress in the musical "Working."
Are these sentiments the happy insights of an optimistic twenty-something, or the programmed ravings of a brainwashed corporate whore? The world may never know.
