Yeah I posted this in my naivity. The Astra is more stable and easier to drive at higher speed though.

Fact is it has. The geometry design of the car was overlooked by Lotus and the suspension is their own piece. Why don't you try driving one before criticising it.

@semtex106 You think I'm kidding? I've owned both cars and the handling of the Astra is much better. You see kids fucking up the geometry by messing with the springs and shit, but the truth is that they've been designed to handle best at stock, and the truck is that the Astra is a better handling car. It's got Lotus DNA in it :P

ye it was my bro in the green vts (@ jbutler22!)he was blitzin everything! he does absolutely nail his car on track, im gonna get him 2 video it next time! although he's now in a white 106 xsi with the same black stealies, i hav the same but in blue! so have a look out as i'm sure we'l be seeing u at some track days soon!

actually kroney64 is right, just not very subtle, the driving on that video sucks, and the car is slower than a snail moving through toffee!

These cars are nippy in a straight line, but the handling is god awful. Just to put it into perspective, I have a Vauxhall Atrsa 2001 estate and that can take corners about 50% faster than these can. They're just too light.
