I'm working on an MGS pack for Day of Defeat: Source.
The idea is that the maps you play are VR missions. This means that both historical and orange maps both fit in (at least in the MGS world.) This also means that all allied classes will be Snakes.
Snake is in-game but doesn't pass the consistency check yet.
So far, the only way to see the model in-game is by watching previously recorded demos or by playing on servers with sv_consistency turned off.
I still need to make variations of models for different classes. Right now, there's only 2 different ones: The sniper and assault have a little less gear on them than the other classes. Also need to make different face materials (Big Boss and Old Snake.) Shouldn't be hard since I'd only have to model an eyepatch for Big Boss, and I could use the Brawl custom Old Snake skin for MGS4 Snake.
I still need a few more sounds to finish up the sound pack.
This MOD/Pack just started 2 days ago, so there's nothing for you to download just yet. Since it's such a young project though, I'm open to suggestions and any help.

[DONE - Decided to make them GRU soldiers]*An idea on what to do with the Axis. Do they need custom models? Should I use custom skins? Or maybe just keep them stock?
[DONE]*Smooth Sniper Snake's face model. (Forgot to do that before compiling.)

Nah. I've finished the German conversion to GRU soldiers (except for their voices). Right now, I'm still working on fixing minor things on Snake that irritate me.
