The 2nd round of the V.I.P. campaign is on. Getting harder now.....although these hints should be of some help:
-The song was released on a Single in 2010
-The song does not have an official PV
-The artist has more publicity than Misaruka (last week's answer)
-The artist charted in on the LMN J Music Final 2010 Countdown
Good luck!
Now on to the countdown and something positive & refreshing. Starting with harmonic hammock. I'm sure most people haven't even heard of the band's name, and it probably is very hard to comprehend how and why it is ranked so high amongst all the J-Rock on this Countdown. Personally, I love everything about this song. The lyrics are pleasant, the vocalist is good, a lot of variety in musical instruments used (key board, guitar, base, harmonica, accordion, tamborine, flute, violin etc.), and above all, the band members appear truly content playing the notes. What an amazing song to listen to on a beautiful day laying in the grassfields of Spain watching the cloudless sky.
UNDER FOREST is in the same category as far as using various instruments, with a violin glorifying its presence within the background music once again. The difference is, UNDER FOREST is a female rock band.
And speaking of rock, we have Kuroyume making a third debut this year with "heavenly." I was not too impressed with the song at first, but it does grow on you after listenting to it several times.
Two other songs have also debuted this week, including a debut single by indigo7 - not a rock band, but the vocalist has an amazing voice, and the emotional lyrics in "on your way" is quite captivating.
Now, on to the Previews. Quite a better selection compared to last week, but mostly only because there was close to nothing interesting scheduled for release the past week to even preview. Starting off with AYABIE - their latest single is their official major debut single, although I must say I am far from impressed. It's not terrible, but neither "Ryusei" nor "Lilia" comes close to "Melody." ...and I still prefer that any band carrying the name of "Ayabie" includes Aoi.
The new Satsuki is addicting, although it appears that their style has changed since their last single. "Clock wise" is EAT YOU ALIVE's first PV, I believe, and I am very pleased with what they've come up with. Hopefully the full PV becomes available for preview online soon. Lastly, HERO's new song is a true gem. The lyrics fascinate me to no end - I won't translate it all here, but the song is about how one has 25 million seconds to live, and when the time comes that those seconds run out, an ending with you nearby crying for me would be perfect -.

what is the title song after the first "merrow -sin-' song, there's only a pic of shin from ViViD, but that song is lovely, can someone tell???
MCrowsW1 5 months ago
@MCrowsW1 It's for a campaign - a test to see if anyone can name what the song is (Artist / Song Title) from the previewed audio clip.
The correct answer, as identified by randompersonist and AncientButterfly382 below, is "Suna no Machi (砂の街)" by THE LEGENDARY SIX NINE.
Thank you to everyone else who participated, see you next week with the 3rd Edition of LMN V.I.P. Campaign!

A winner has already been declared for this week's LMN V.I.P. Campaign - that was quick. Congratulations to randompersonist for answering correctly!
Everyone else is still free to make attempts, although no prize will be awarded beyond this point.
It appears that I am quite underestimating viewer knowledge when it comes to this, and for that reason, the difficulty level next week will be much higher. Stay tuned~.
