    And most, if not all of those bands yo mentioned, suck. In 10 years, Nickelback and Bieber will be an afterthought. My newborn won't even know who those hacks are. Dick Dale has been around for 6 decades. I think I'll take Dick's advice. It's not always about being a star and being product of the same lame-ass trends that have been around.

    Dick Dale was smart and always kept the rights to his music. Even today artists sign their rights away to their music in exchange for an "advance" they quickly smoke through.

    actually most of those artists you just mentioned did it on there own and they dont own the rights to most of there music its a known fact that most artists dont even get the option to own the rights to there music.....ive been there
