Nope. The camera was very close to the chessboard, I just kept the subject on focus and everything around got a very shallow dof. I'm still looking for a good 35mm adapter though.

The camera was in HDV25/Cinemode, I don't know exactly what it means.
Sorry for the shaking camera, I didn't find a way to zoom in/out with the remote control.
