As for the ecological argument: Feral cats have a huge negative impact on the environment. Feeding populations of cats enables them to overpopulate, destroy and push out native species (what do you think they eat?), and spread diseases to other animals. If you're letting cats run around and breed, you have no right to be moralizing, especially to other cultures.

@biolumine I would starve to death before I would ever eat ANY pet, or ft or that matter, any animal! I know that there are cat lovers in all those places, however, there are millions of humans, so maybe they should eat each other? That would help with the CO2 overload that this planet is suffering from! That's right! WE are thing that is causing warming on the globe! Not cars, trains, and areoplanes! It is US, and also our disgusting penchant for meat eating that is causing our planet to die!
