  • i thought canarias is from brazil????

  • G'day.....canarias is by far the best yerba mate, strong and it wont wash as quick as some other brands,Cruz de Malta hmmmmmmm,2 many sticks and it wont taste as Canarias.

Any how fellas have a nice day....oi oi oi aussie aussie aussie.

  • Yeah. Drinking and preparing Canarias is more like an art. Once you get it down though, it's good (and strong). I enjoy Cruz de Malta as well--it's definitely easier to cebar.

  • Canarias brand has no stems but it is ground to fine and has too much dust which is unpleasant when it gets in the back of your throat after passing through the holes in your bombilla Cruz de Malta brand has larger particles and stems which aid in filtration.

Also avoid alpaca when it comes to bombillas. Unlike stainless steel it corodes too easily.
