This is why Gordon could win so often back then. Modern NASCAR young guns would have held their line and spun Gordon.. and it would have been Gordon's fault for trying to shove them down.
The gentlemen of yesteryear had more respect for each other and human life.. so when they had to choose between wrecking somebody or finishing second, they took second place. For this reason, Gordon was a driver ahead of his time. Now he is in a field of drivers like him.. and he no longer wins racesorchamps
