Old Friends Together Episode 7

(Selena's POV:)

Sitting on the floor with Nick, as he stared into my eyes and I tried so hard not to stare into his. I managed to pull my eyes away from him, try to ignore eye contact. "Selena." Nick whispered. "Nick... You have Lindsey, I have Joe. Doesn't that cross things out between you and I? Doesn't the fact that we both have someone mean anything? Or are you the cheating type as well?" I asked, annoyed a bit. "What happened? What happened to that moment I had with you 5 seconds ago?" Nick asked. "I don't know, maybe I realized, that... I can't be with you. Maybe, there are signs and we don't understand them. I think I understand it now." I looked at him. "Is there anyway I can change your mind about Joe? At all. Cause Selena, how many times do I have to say it before you believe me when I tell you I love you." Nick took my hand. I stared at him. "Just as many times you said sorry." I stated. "Sorry was never enough." Nick agrued. "Then you have your answer, it's a bit impossible for me to believe you." I stood up, and walked into my room. My amazing moment on the floor.


"Selena! We're going to dinner. One hour, Get ready!" My mom yelled upstairs. I took a really quick shower, dried my hair and curled it, did my make up and slid into a zebra stripped dress with some black pieces and hot pink lines on the dress. Walked downstairs and waited for my parents. We all arrived at this really fancy resturaunt. I sat next to Frankie and Kevin. After dinner, us all walking out to the cars. Joe came next to me. "Selena, I thought we were sitting together?" Joe asked. I shrugged. "Selena." Joe stated. I looked at him. "Do you want this or not?" Joe asked. I waited, silently, looking around trying to find the courage to answer him. "I don't...... think I do." I looked down. "Fine then.... here is the opposite of what you wanted. We're over." Joe walked back to the car with Joe and Kevin, Danielle. I climbed in the car with my parents. Once we got home, they went to the guest house. Nick's parents stayed in the bar, in the lounge with parents drinking. My dad came home last night for the week. I walked into my room, wipped all my make up off, slid into PINK Yoga Pants and a colorful designed tank top. Turned my TV on listened to music. 20 minutes later a knock on my door. I sighed, annoyed and opened it. Nick charged in my room, I shut the door and turned. "Can I help you?" I asked. "Yes. Why did Joe break up with you?" Nick asked. "I kind of told him, I didn't want it and he broke up with me." I stated. "Are you okay?" Nick asked. "Yes, remember I told him I didn't want it anymore." I walked in the bathroom connected to my room to finish clearing my make up off. Nick stepped into my bathroom, appeared behind me and I watched him in the mirror as he wrapped his arms around me, Hiding his face in my shoulder. I began to smile. I set down my make up cleaner and put my hands on his arms around me. "Nick." I sighed. "Come on Selena...." Nick whispered, kissing my shoulder. I laughed. "Quitttt, that tickles." I began laughing. Nick smiled. I turned to face him, and Nick scooped me up, setting me down on the counter. He came close to me and slid his arms back to my waist, I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him down to me. He pushed his head to mine, looking in my eyes. "We Can'-" Nick cut me off by kissing me. I waited a second to see if he would pull away but he didn't. So, I kissed him back, deeply. Feeling something there, I got into it. Smiling through out the kiss. "Woww." Nick smiled, pulling away. "I can't believe, I let you kiss me." I stared at him. "What can I say?" Nick smiled, kissing me again.


I actually let Nick kiss me. After I broke up with Joe an hour ago. I end up, in my bathroom sitting on the counter kissing his brother that I've always had a thing for. I guess I've just been so hard headed that I never wanted to admit it, not even to myself much less anyone else.
