Luxor Spa Suite, Las Vegas HD

This is a short video of our stay at the Luxor. It's starting to show its age, the toilet didn't work and even after maintenance fixed it we could only get it to flush correctly every other time. There was a panel hanging open on the spa itself, and wall paper was peeling.

We stayed in a spa suite on the 17th floor, east side. I was up filming the sun rise around 5 AM. Didn't sleep that well, as it was easy to hear the loud noises from the suite next door.

All in all, it was still a great stay, and we had a great time. It's centrally located, and easy to go from the Luxor to either the Excalibur, or Mandalay Bay without having to go out in the heat. It was always between 95-100. I recommend the Burger Bar between the Luxor and Mandalay bay.

Thanks for the upload. I'm looking for a place to stay to end a road trip trough the USA, so your vid is very usefull. Would you recommend this place for a short stay? BTW, as Pinkynrg said, this is not poor camera work, you did a great job.

@321bangbang123 To be honest, I don't have that broad of experience with the other hotels outside of the casinos. If you're not worried about the accomodations, I'd say there is nothing wrong with the place. It is older, and there are many newer, more up to date hotels to stay in. All depends on how much time you'll spend in the room.

Luxor excalibur and mandalay are amazing buildings but oh my goodnes stink a lot. These smoke and smell to cigarettes oh noooo I ran to scape.

I used to stay at the Luxor but nowadays I stay next door at THEHotel at Mandalay. On my last trip to Luxor you could actually hear toilets flushing in other rooms.

Be careful staying in any pyramid room; it's very easy to bang your head on the window when you look out it, due to the severe slant of the glass.

Your camera work is good, no criticism there.

Reserve a room above, or near, the nightclub with a cheap rate. Go and have fun. Go back to your room and stay there for a short time (enough for them to think you are going to sleep or take a nap) Call the front desk and complain about the noise. Get upgraded to the room you just saw. :)

That hotel was very messy and not kept up with very well.
