You know Mr Kafka, you say to talk to any pro that knows your work or your tools then come back and apologize. But any pro, including your self, did not learn through these ways. You decided to capitalize on something you knew alot of people would spend money on. Now tons of people, artistic or not, will be saying to them selves "well that guy made it, and it says I can be a pro, why not?". Your just conning suckers out of money. Love your work, but I don't agree with this.

The first time I used a scrolling brush, I thought I messed up while I was doing a curve. I've been drawing flames since elementary school, so they're no problem- its the crazy symmetrical designs I gotta work on.

@lucky1jarrod I'm not KNOCKING Steve Kafka's art or his talent. I only wish i had the time to do stuff like that. It's wonderful. I have also sold things with my name on them. But come on his training kit is Bogus. Many books tell you to try the same method But you don't need to But a clipboard and Dixies from him.
I "gave this video a view", Because I watched most striping videos on You Tube. To learn things. I can respect a legend but still have a point of view.

@rafaelmc76 It would be worth your while to get a can of One Shot ,
say the color Imitation Gold. and some reducer or mineral spirits. Because Striping is done with paint that is durable and drys slowly. you would have plenty of time to wipe an area clean after you striped it full of practice .
But because You will need to learn to get the right flow to that paint You may as well start off with it. I know of Kafka Work it is fantastic. but I still think his system is over kill.

im interrested in learning to pin stripe, i just tought to buy a brush and water based paint, if i get it wrong just wash it, till i get it right, then go with the real paint. As many of you just said, its practice and desire to do something that makes someone good at it.

@brokenbrush : that is wonderful advice. truly.

If all of you are so good at any paint medium then why did you give this a view??? Mr. Kafka I'm friends with the Jacka family and know your work well and you sir are talented... If these people had half a brain they would see talent and not belittle a man trying to make a living...Which you do very well off of pinstriping so this kit is to help those with little to no talent!!! RESPECT A LEGEND!!!

@kafkapinstriping - MANOR(S) = a landed estate or territorial unit, originally of the nature of a feudal lordship, consisting of a lord's demesne and of lands within which he has the right to exercise certain privileges, exact certain fees, etc.
To learn pinstripin' Just watch every video and Get a can of one shot, local Art store or Auto paint supply. They'll have a MACK brush usually as a "touch up " brush. Watch some videos and try it . DON"T be Fooled and intimidated . Believing you need to spend money to learn it. Can-o- paint $ 8.95 Mack brush $10.
You can learn on any flat surface.
Don't worry how many times you fail. You'll get better, It's practice that makes you that's all . really.

Steve Kafka is a genius marketer. He figued out how to sell clipboards, paper cups, and clear plastic sheets to people who want to learn to paint. Come on, folks. If you want to learn to paint, get some paint and a brush and try it out and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Hats off to Steve Kafka, who is probably living in a large home on the beach counting his royalty checks.
