Also one could drive them in Germany with a simple license, like for a scooter, they were called Cabin scooters( Kabinen Roller) my friend a bass player had a Heinkel. He arrived at a gig opened the front door and we had to take his double bass out before he could extricate himself, a good show.

My Dad (Stan) built the red model Bond and renovated the green Bond.He's owned it for about 30 years and still drives it.
