  • I was thinking of purchasing a set of dumbells but i'm unsure of how heavy they should be. What would you recommend?

  • @annabellesoo that's awesome, It's really hard to say because everyone's strength is different. As a general rule I recommend a light set (3-8 lbs) and a somewhat heavy set... 10-20 pounds.

    Your first set if you don't want to get two then going in the middle may be wise, a 8 pound perhaps.

  • I can only do 10 push ups that way. Is that good for starting out?
