  • is this physically demanding?

  • @awsupernova The job can be physically demanding, depending on the area of work. Not all OT jobs are physically demanding.

  • What's the difference between a physical therapist and an occupational therapist?

  • @Linahalshaalan An occupational therapist considers the physical, affective (emotional), and cognitive (thinking) parts of the person. A physical therapist is more focused on the physical aspects of functioning.

  • I like this.....what is the job out look?

  • @groovestreet77 The job outlook is positive. I notice more and more OT jobs available all the time. The job outlook for occupational therapists is probably similar to that of other health related professions.

  • Don't waste your time. Nothing but Medicare Fraud if you work in nursing homes which is where most of the jobs are for COTAs. This field is way overly glamorized, and all the skills you learned in school will never be used in the real world.

  • Can you get a degree in Exercise science and then go to a grade school for your masters???
