Beans: Fiori blend by LowDown. Grinder: Sunbeam EMO 480 @ 14 grind setting. The Breville Cafe Roma is a very entry level machine but you can get some decent results. Only criticism is the slowness in frothing milk. Bro tips: always use freshly roasted and ground beans, don't overfill the basket, use a light tamp only and ideally let the machine heat up for a good 5 minutes before use. You can also pre-heat the portafilter by running some water through it without the basket in it (some risk of too much heat on the coffee prior to extraction) - and heat your cups as well by pouring boiling water in them and sitting them on the heating tray.
@Petrichor91 thanks, yeah i am not that great with the milk but getting better - i find towards the end i need to have the wand quite shallow in the milk in order to get some decent foam happening (if doing a cappucino)
