with a very strong opponent (2.22into video) one can grab ones own lapel when leaning backwards avoiding strength against strength, using ones own body weight to break their resistance andescape .

Excellent demo---and you have the technique name correct. I was promoted to Shodan by Ernie Cates (USMC), Nidan by Ira Bonar (USMC), and Sandan by the legendary Ishikawa (Virginia Beach) the man who fought Kimura to a draw---and that's what they called it. Your demo is first rate.

Now thats what I call a "Dam great Choke" lol hows that as a classification or as one instructor said on another vid when people gave him a hassle about a name of a waza... you could always just call it "BOB" Lol.. great vid 5 Stars

Your two Jigoku videos are probably the best choking videos on youtube. These are just fantastic, three of us worked on these in our Judo class last week after watching these and everything you showed works well. Don't let the classification nerds get you down.

As I have mentioned before, I am not a classification expert, nor do I really care. Nearly everyone that added a comment regarding the name of the choke has had another name for it. So, I am going to go with what I was coached.
