Ok I know about the process now after having invested about 300 dollars in it. Creating positive results using this product will largely come from your abillities as a clay modeler. Given high abillity, you can model terrific things using this system but, it has very specific limitations. Detail must be limited to a medium level. Items rendered with detail smaller than 1/16 inch will probably not show up. I would not hope for better than 1/8 for a serious object.

I disagree regarding the fine quality. I have crafted items that I am extremely proud of. I would also add that items I have seen made by others would also not be out of place in any quality jewellery store.

You must fire the ring first as the heat would damage any quartz stone (the only stone I would fire in place is diamond as it can take the heat) and also, stones arn't set by soldering! they are "set" by numerous methods involving pushing metal over a stone

I'm a jeweller from Australia and from what i know from my limited work with PMC is that the final product (in the most common PMC) is fine silver, so yes it can be annealed. Yes, interesting stuff but very much a hobby material not suitable for making fine quality jewellery

Hi Sherri, Where are you located? Do you give classes? I'm in N.Y.C.

can you anneal the final product? is it brittle or crumbly? Its interesting stuff to be sure.

Hi Sherri! Nice bracelet!

I'm not Sherri but I can tell you a bit about her. Sherri lives in Utah but teaches all over the country (and world.) Here''s a link to her class schedule:

Sherri really is pretty incredible. She's an excellent teacher and artist. I got the chance to work with her while filming her two DVDs for work and am always really excited to get a chance to meet up with her at craft events.
