I never knew she could do this...she's beautiful!! I actually was tearing up watching this. Thank you so much for posting these clips. My admiration for her has just gone through the roof.

She was Michael Praed's girlfriend. I sooooo envied her at the time.

My 15 year old daughter was compared to finola at the weekend at a dance competition and we were told to look her up on you tube,I remember her from syaying alive,this is such a lovely dance it made me cry.

Even though Finola didn't do much in the way of dancing when she played on GH, she did a bit and you could tell she was good! That's why she got the part in Staying Alive.

This is nearly 30 years ago, and no since has there been a more artisticly choreographed piece of music, that is truly beautiful to watch... and the music, aboslutely wonderful . Thank you for posting this, it brought back a memory of something that was truly special.

Gosh, I remember this from the Hot Shoe Show years ago and it was one of my favourite pieces. Great song, great choreography and dancing from the two leads with a great storyboard. Do you have the whole programme taped though? I seem to remember Finola Hughes was dating Michael Praed at the time and there was a sketch with Michael Praed singing with Bonnie Langford that was quite good. Thanks for posting this.

Finola was quite the accomplished dancer before Stayin Alive. She originated the role of Victoria the white Cat in Andrew Lloyd Webbers Cats in London. This clip is from a British TV Series called The Hot Shoe show.
