Barns of WI are captured throughout many counties and depict many stages of deterioration. All are beautiful in their own way. I photograph rural farms and barns, architectural forms throughout the world, people, nature and found objects. I enjoy the way the objects, buildings and structures go through change. The texture of decaying wood barns move me from the 100 plus years of constant beating weather. The fierce Midwest weather change so drastically from summer to winter. They are brutal on wood framed barns, structures and buildings. I've come to call my work ''Rural Architecture''. I find wonderful composition in man made structures of all kinds. My images are witness to the blood and sweat required to create and then the ease of destruction they go through.
