Thanks for this but i just see this as stealing Elvis" performance and style right down to the smallest inflection...... Reminds me of the bit in Jailhouse Rock where Vinces song was copied and released !

It doesn't matter who else recorded this song, this performance stands on its own. The vocal quality and clarity maintained from beginning to end, while conveying so much emotion, is just astounding.

look everyone is entitled to their own opinion on who is the best vocalist but the world decides when it buys records and follows an entertainer. pj proby is so not in the same world as elvis , i mean elvis was major league and proby very very minor, just above demo singer status.
