Justice Mark Cady (Part 1): On the Purpose and Importance of Judicial Independence

Justice Mark Cady recently spoke on judicial independence at our National Conference on Evaluating Appellate Judges. Justice Cady is chief justice of the Iowa Supreme Court, which in 2010 saw three of its judges targeted and ousted based on the outcome of a single decision.
