i was looking into one of these.. I have the chance to get a seydel chromo have you ever played the seydel? compare?

@RupidFlappo This is mt second cx-12 the windsavers on the first one were sticking from the beginning Didnt last long. As you know,I play chromaticis primatily and sont play overly hard. The newest one is already getting sticky but the thing that I really dont like alot about the cx is that the lower draw notes dont have quite the punch of a Seydelor a 270 I have replaced nothing on either but I have modified most of the valves by nipping off a corner so they dont seal over the reed

I would rather have a Seydel. I have had a few of Seydel Deluxe and several cx 12...Between the cx 12s that I have now the 4 one of my friend has and the 6 that another friend has 12 total all but 4 are screwed up i some way (mostly sticky windavers and icky tuning. I guess at this point you might say that I am not enthusiastic about the cx 12 . the fact that you can pop the slide out easily and reedplates. does not make up for the sticky windsavers, poor tuning and weak bass notes

@SADFACE1000 At this point, I would only recommend the cx 12 if you play softly and if yo dont mind trimming the winsdsavers a bit to unstick them, but again I ony have had 2 of them. At 191 (bottom dollar price) I think the 270 is a better harmonica (145)
