  • Actually, there is a way to save your game without dying.

Press start to pause the game and bring up the B button item selection menu. Once here, press Up and A on controller 2. This will bring up the save menu. You have three options: Continue, save and retry. Scroll through with Select on controller 1 and choose by pressing Start. There you go - how to save without the need for dying.

  • Holy crap! Do you know how much of my life I wasted killing Link...especially with the kick ass Red Tunic. Thanks for the tip, now if only we could get the time machine working...

  • Its not really even voice acting the zelda series for a while seems to have used the same formula, storyline and game engine Spirit Tracks looks good (i havent played it yet) but the obviuos phantom hourglass ship engine has been completly ported to ST with the ship turned into a train. the most indivisual zelda games are the first, the second, link to the past and OOT.

  • Personally, I think the voice acting could be done if the voices are chosen properly. Last thing fans want is Link sounding like a pansy. However, it also wouldn't fit the character to be overly masculine and gruff like he has smoked a pack a day for 20 years. So a nice medium would work if the right voice actor could be found. - Ray

No, I disagree. It is with the times. Voice actors is a big maybe. As long as Link doesn't talk. A talking Link would ruin the series. As far as story lines, they do a great job usually mixing the dark and lighter aspects together, they don't need a more mature story line. We have enough of those these days.

  • the only thing with the LOZ series is that it hasnt really advanced after over 20 years it really needs to move slightly with the times. Voice actors,a level up engine and a more detalied mature storyline would bring i into te 21st century.

  • The kewlest secret is by far the white ring.

  • Holy crap, the kid with the glasses looks like the know it all boy from The Polar Express movie, sorry to be off topic, though yes The Legend of Zelda for the nes is a grand game.

  • Oh God! I remember that commercial. At the time I was 12 years old and thought the commercial was cool. Now I just think it was funny.

ps. my opinion, Legend of Zelda was/is the greatest Game ever.

  • hell no we dont need anyone bringing that horrible rap back

  • Great Video, this game is a classic. I think what makes it so special is that not only inspired the rpg genre, but it was also a game that led to non linear play, and I think it was a great inspiration on games like Oblivion, and Morrowind. Great review though.....
