1. "Many baptized heretics have been educated in their erroneous beliefs. Their case is altogether different from that of those who have voluntarily renounced the Faith. They accept what they believe to be the Divine revelation. Such as these belong to the Church in desire, for they are at heart anxious to fulfill God's will in their regard. In virtue of their baptism and good will, they may be in a state of grace. They belong to the soul of the Church, though they are not united to the visible body. As such they are members of the Church internally, though not externally." -Joyce, George. "The Church." The Catholic Encyclopedia. Vol. 3. New York: Robert Appleton Company, 1908.

2. CCC 818

3. "This manifestly includes the states of inadvertence, forgetfulness, etc. Such ignorance is obviously involuntary and therefore not imputable." -Delany, Joseph. "Ignorance." The Catholic Encyclopedia. Vol. 7. New York: Robert Appleton Company, 1910.

4. "Many theologians are of the opinion that to the Syllabus as such an infallible teaching authority is to be ascribed, whether due to an ex-cathedra decision by the pope or to the subsequent acceptance by the Church. Others question this. So long as Rome has not decided the question, everyone is free to follow the opinion he chooses. Even should the condemnation of many propositions not possess that unchangeableness peculiar to infallible decisions, nevertheless the binding force of the condemnation in regard to all the propositions is beyond doubt." -Haag, Anthony. "Syllabus." The Catholic Encyclopedia. Vol. 14. New York: Robert Appleton Company, 1912.

5. "However, in spreading religious faith and in introducing religious practices everyone ought at all times to refrain from any manner of action which might seem to carry a hint of coercion or of a kind of persuasion that would be dishonorable or unworthy, especially when dealing with poor or uneducated people. Such a manner of action would have to be considered an abuse of one's right and a violation of the right of others." -Dignitatis Humanae, 4

6. "We believe that this one true religion subsists in the Catholic and Apostolic Church, to which the Lord Jesus committed the duty of spreading it abroad among all men...On their part, all men are bound to seek the truth, especially in what concerns God and His Church, and to embrace the truth they come to know, and to hold fast to it. This Vatican Council likewise professes its belief that it is upon the human conscience that these obligations fall and exert their binding force. The truth cannot impose itself except by virtue of its own truth, as it makes its entrance into the mind at once quietly and with power." -Dignitatis Humanae, 1

7. "These circumstances in turn depend sometimes on the Church, sometimes on the peoples or groups or men to whom the mission is directed. For the Church, although of itself including the totality or fullness of the means of salvation, does not and cannot always and instantly bring them all into action. Rather, she experiences beginnings and degrees in that action by which she strives to make God's plan a reality. In fact, there are times when, after a happy beginning, she must again lament a setback, or at least must linger in a certain state of unfinished insufficiency." -Ad Gentes, 6

  • SeptemberCatholic18, all of you Vatican 2 sect supporters don't have the guts to debate the Dimond brothers. You are all cowards hiding behind a script

  • @Faith3Faith

I'm sorry, but the Dimonds don't know how to debate. They insult their opponents, and commit abuses which I learned to avoid in my four years in NFL debate. I have always had it as my policy to avoid such individuals. I saw one debate where Peter simply yelled over his opponent while the opponent yelled back. Is that a debate?

Nevertheless, I already decided to move on. I can't debate every insignificant cult out there.

  • Have you ever considered or proposed a debate with mhfm?

  • He sent me a challenge, but I had to turn him down. Have you ever been to the MHFM website? He has all his debates on there, and I was frankly shocked by his style of debate.

Perhaps for others, that is appropriate, but being on a formal debate team for four years, and captain in the last year, I understand his style to be poor in debate etiquette and ethics.

That is why I will go at it with OneTrueChurch, Ken Bird, and Paleocrat; they are all more respectful and charitable opponents.

  • @SeptemberCatholic18 when he gets bested*** didn't mean to say you.

  • Do you think that video of him opposing Sedevacantism is real? It's all over Youtube now, and it seems to be legitimate. Sounds like a young Peter before he switched over to Sedevacantism.

Anyways, I always enjoy a good debate. But one of the few rules I have is that my opponent may be ruthless towards my position, but must be respectful to me.

  • Sergio,

Thank you for this "Magnum Opus".

You have answered all 40 questions with facts, sincerity, love and humility.

Blessings on you for your work in the vineyard of Jesus Christ.

We may only hope, by virtue of this and other explanations of the facts, that those who hold the position of sedevacantism or those who are considering its false teachings may benefit through careful, attentive study and never leave the Church.

We leave the "heavy lifting" to the Holy Spirit.

    "Veni Sancte Spiritus."

  • @SeptemberCatholic18 can you give the link to that video?

    please

    Gracias

  • Very well done

  • @SeptemberCatholic18 haha, yeah I saw it today and had to laugh.

He utterly destroys the position in that video, but now stands for it...

And it looks just like him, so yeah I would say its legit.

  • @SeptemberCatholic18 Peter is very harsh and mean when he debates, there were multiple times in his debate with Gnrhead about the new mass that he would start his reply to something William had said with something along the lines of "You have shown how stupid and spiritually blind you are." I was sitting there just thinking, wow... he has anger issues, for sure. and resorts to childish things when you gets bested.
