Positive Ageing Week 2011

Memories of Positive Ageing Week 2011, organised by Age Action, and sponsored by ESB Electric Ireland. There were 15 Positive Ageing Week towns and over 1,000 events across Ireland during the week. The purpose of the week is to celebrate the fact that we are all growing older and to highlight the contribution which older people have made, and continue to make, to their communities. Plans have already begun for next year's Positive Ageing Week.
